As we leave Konya this morning we start to follow the ancient Silk Trade route, where we will visit Sultanhani, the largest caravansaray on the Anatolian plain. We will continue east onto Cappadocia, this region of Turkey is incredibly spectacular and we are incredibly lucky to be given an opportunity to see such a wonderful part of the world. We will stop in at the underground city for a fully guided tour and a walk through the Ilhara Valley before we will arrive into Goreme, where we will spend the evening.
