The Gallipoli Houses are set in the little village of Kocadere. A quiet little village located 3km off the Ecebat-Kabatepe Road. All you will find as you walk through the village will be the village chickens, cats, dogs with the locals sitting and talking about crops, harvests and livestocks. It will give you real little taste of village life. The 10 rooms that they have on offer are all decorated and fitted out to the highest comfort level. The rooms all have terraces where you can sit and enjoy a drink after a long day touring the sombre battlefields. The hosts and owners of the houses are extremely knowledgable in their history and also other local sites and beaches to visit whilst staying here. As there are no other eating options in the village, they offer delicious home cooked Turkish meals with a little "world" influence. They also have a fully licensed bar which has a decent selection of local wines as well as spirits and beer. When you come to stay here, you will be sure that one night is not long enough.
