This morning you will wake up in the beautiful Butterfly Valley. Breakfast will be on the boat before you will get the chance to go for a hike in the valley to spot any of the local butterflies and/or walk to the waterfall. We will then cruise along the coast and anchor down to head for shore. We will be picked up in a private bus and transported to the Greek Ghost Village of Kayakoy. We will have a fully guided tour of this abandoned city before we stop for lunch. Kayakoy was once fully Greek populated. After Turkey and Greece agreed on a population swap back in 1923, the villagers residing here packed up and moved back to Greece, leaving there homes behind. It remained untouched until a rather large earthquake hit the area in 1957 and the local Turks raided the village for supplies to rebuild their own battered homes. After a stroll through the eerie village we will stop by in a local restaurant for local gozleme pancakes for lunch (included). Our last night will then be spent back on the boat in a bay called Samanlik Bay. Tonight we can sit and reminisce over the last week of our trip.
