After breakfast we will start making our way towards the Ancient City of Kekova. Firstly we will slowly cruise by the Kekova Sunken City. Formally a little fishing community, an island that was still part of Kekova it was destroyed in a devastating earthquake in the 2nd Century A.D. Now what you will see is old house foundations falling into the ocean. As its now a protected site we can not anchor down near by, nor swim over the ruins. The Captain will take us by nice and slowly for a good look before we will anchor down and visit Kekova-Simena. After lunch we will go ashore to have a toured guide through the Lycian tombs scattered around the island and we will also enter Simena Castle. With a small amphitheatre within its walls, its a fantastic spot to get a good view over the coastline we have travelled. We will then spend the afternoon ached in Gokkaya Bay. This is where will spend the night. Gokkaya is a well protected bay and we will have plenty of time for swimming and relaxing.
