We will depart Istanbul early today to travel to Gallipoli. We spend the afternoon out on the peninsula visiting the many memorials commemorating the fallen Australian, New Zealand and Turkish soldiers. We will get to stand on the beach where the Anzacs landed, where you will truly understand the enormity of the task that had laid before them, and also visit the grave sites of the many who were left behind. Dinner this evening will be over looking the Dardanelles in Canakkale.
