Today we leave the coastline and start heading inland for the unusual landscape of Cappadocia. We drive along part of the silk road, which was the travelling route from ancient trading times, where the East met the West. We call into visit an ancient Caravanserai, which was the resting place for these travellers and their stock and produce, from these times gone before us. Overnight is spent in Goreme, where out accommodation is in the cave like dwellings that are infamous for the area. Tonight there is an optional visit to a restored old village house for traditional dinner of clay pot kebabs and local wines.
