Before we leave Kas today, we stop in at the outdoor market to have a look around. You may want to stock up on some more locally grown fruits or nuts before we hit the road for Phaselis. Phaselis is yet again another ancient Lycian city that is scattered along the coastline here. A major trading centre with three separate harbours, among the ruins you can see an aqueduct, an agora, some baths and a theatre. The location, set between beautiful pine groves with views over the Taurus mountains its a perfect spot to relax for the afternoon, swim and enjoy the mix of nature and history. Our lunch will be a a picnic on the pebbly sheltered beach front. After a relaxed afternoon, we will head further along the coast to one of the largest cities in Turkey, Antalya. Here we will check into out hotel which is located in the historic Kaleici district.
