Today we depart Istanbul to start heading south along the coast. We will take a ferry across the Marmara Sea to Bandirma, where we will then travel by bus to Bergama. In Bergama we will visit one of the finest archaeological sites in Turkey, the Ancient City of Pergamum. The amphitheatre here, is not only one of the most impressive you will see but the steepest you will find in all of Anatolia. This evening we will have dinner in our hotel in Bergama.
