Hasankeyf

Hasankeyf is a true gem in Southeastern Turkey. Set in a valley on the Tigris River the town has been built in honey coloured rocks giving it a stark resemblance to Cappadocia. Dating back to 1800 B.C the town has its own charm and charisma for you to wander through its streets, but also its fair share of ancient sites. Built higher into the rock faces you can find old homes, mosques and the remains of the ancient city all in ruins for you to explore.
